Jesus the Savior

Unit Thrust
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, we will learn about events in the latter part of Jesus' ministry. We start with Peter's confession that Jesus is God's Son and raising Lazarus from the dead, then turn to the Triumphal Entry, Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus.

March 2: Jesus God's Son

	Scripture: Matthew 16:13-20
	Memory Verse: You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God! -- Matthew 16:16
	Life Application: I can know and tell others that Jesus is God's Son.

March 9: Jesus the Miracle Worker

	Scripture: John 11:1-44
	Memory Verse: You are great and perform wonders; You alone are God. -- Psalm 86:10
	Life Application: I can trust Jesus because He is God's Son.

March 16: Jesus the King

	Scripture: Matthew 21:1-11
	Memory Verse: Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. -- Luke 19:38
	Life Application: I can praise Jesus, God's Son

March 23: Jesus the Savior

	Scripture: Matthew 26:36-28:10
	Memory Verse: The Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. -- 1 John 4:14
	Life Application: I can trust Jesus as my Savior when the Holy Spirit prompts me to.

March 30: Jesus Will Come

	Scripture: Acts 1:4-11
	Memory Verse: This Jesus, who had been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven. -- Acts 1:11
	Life Application: I can trust that Jesus will return to earth some day.
