In the Beginning

Unit Thrust
We will learn about God's creation of the universe, with special attention to His creation of mankind and how the first man and woman made wrong choices that separated them and us from God. Because Palm Sunday is March 28, this will be a sort unit of three sessions. We will study the Palm Sunday lesson with the April unit.

March 7: The Creation

	Scripture: Genesis 1-2:3
	Memory Verse: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. -- Genesis 1:1
	Life Application: I can know that God created the world from nothing.

March 14: In God's Image

	Scripture: Genesis 2:4-24
	Memory Verse: God created man in His own image. -- Genesis 1:27
	Life Application: I can praise God for creating me in His image.

March 21: A Wrong Choice

	Scripture: Genesis 3
	Memory Verse: Do what is right and good in the Lord's sight. -- Deuteronomy 6:18
	Life Application: I can make good choices.
