Noah and God’s Flood
We had a great time with our drama of Cain and Abel last week! We had some outstanding sheep and wheat actors. Perhaps we’ll try again with Noah. You’ll never know what we’ll do as we try to help you learn about the Bible!
This week is the story of Noah. You have heard the story many times, and some of you told me it is your favorite Bible story. Here are some questions to help you prepare:
- Why did God send the flood to cover the earth?
- How long did it take Noah to follow God’s instructions and build the ark?
- Who actually closed the door to the ark?
- How long did the rains come down?
- How long were the animals and Noah’s family closed up in the ark altogether?
- What two promises did God make to Noah and his descendants (that includes us!)?
- How many animals of each kind did Noah take on the ark (careful—not as easy as you think)?
This is a great story to help us know that God will always keep His promises, and that He will always take care of those who follow His commands.
See you Sunday! Remember to bring a friend.
