Wisdom is the ability to put the knowledge and understanding we have to the best use…to make the best choices and decisions. The Bible teaches us that true wisdom comes from God. This Sunday we’ll be looking at a Bible person who was faithful in worshiping the One True God and, as a result, was given such wisdom by God that even the kings and queens of nations who were enemies of Israel noticed.
Our subject is Daniel. You might remember him only from his experience in the lions’ den, but there is much more to his story. This week we’ll learn about a really scary event where hundreds of people saw a hand writing glowing letters on the palace wall. No one could read them except Daniel, who was able to interpret the message from God.
What message do you think God would write on the wall for you, if He had to get your attention that way?
