During June we will be learning about prayer—talking to God! How great it is that God invites us to talk with Him through prayer. It’s a great honor and privilege to communicate directly with the Creator of the universe, and to know that He loves us and wants us to express praise and thanksgiving, bring our requests, and to pray for other people. It is important for us to pray…for prayer changes things!
This Sunday we’ll be learning about the Model Prayer (perhaps you know it as the Lord’s Prayer), which Jesus taught his disciples when they asked Him to teach them how to pray. It will help us, too, to know how to pray as Jesus wants us to.
We’ll be learning more from other Bible characters during the rest of the month. You’ll want to be there every Sunday…and bring a friend!
