Noah and the Flood

You know the story of Noah, and we’ll go into it this coming Sunday. I think you will learn some things you never knew before. To get ready, try answering these questions:

  1. How many human persons were on the ark?
  2. How many of each animal were on the ark?
  3. How long did it rain?
  4. How long were Noah, his family, and the animals on the ark?
  5. What was the first animal to leave the ark?
  6. What was the first thing Noah did after he left the ark?

We’ll be using a video from the Animated Kids’ Bible and some other images to help you understand how big the ark actually was and how the animals might have fit into it.

But the Big Idea for this Sunday is that, just as God took care of Noah, who was following God’s commands, He will take care of us today, especially if we follow God’s commands. Remember, the rainbow is God’s promise…and He always keeps them!

See you Sunday (bring a friend)!
