Last Sunday we learned about two angels announcing that God was about to keep His promise to send the Messiah…and that His name would be Jesus!
This coming Sunday we will celebrate Jesus’ birth with our Christmas party (don’t forget to invite a friend!) and by learning about Jesus’ actual birth, 2007 years ago, in Bethlehem…just as the prophets had promised.
We’ll have a quiz (don’t worry…it will be fun!) to see how much you really know about the Christmas story. Of course, for our party, we’ll have games, refreshments, and fun, too. Have you ever played “Pin the Star on the Christmas Tree”?
Please remember to bring your offering for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. This is a special time of year to pray for our missionaries around the world and to give to help them have the things they need to tell people about Jesus.
