Psalm 119

Do you remember the Psalm our memory verses come from this month? It is the only book in the Bible that has a chapter number as large as 119. And Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the whole Bible! It’s a special Psalm, because each verse in it is about the Bible.

Our memory verses all help us remember that we can respect, read, know, and obey God’s Word, the Bible. Here they are in a helpful summary:

“Lord, Your word is forever.” — Psalm 119:89

“I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.” — Psalm 119:16

“I have treasured Your word in my heart so that I may not sin against You.” — Psalm 119:11

“Help me understand Your instruction, and I will obey it.” — Psalm 119:34

This would be a good message to print out and use to memorize these verses. That would be a great start to Knowing more of God’s word!
