Thanks, boys and girls, for studying about Ezra and the Bible last Sunday with us. We hope you had fun acting out the worship experience that the Israelites had, especially with the special prayer shawl that Pastor John let us borrow.
We have talked about how we can Respect the Word and Read the Word. Next Sunday we’ll be talking about how to Know the Word. Our story will be about Jesus, right at the beginning of His ministry, when He was tempted by the devil. We’ll learn about what temptation is, and how each of us faces it today. But the good news is that we can resist the devil and temptation just like Jesus did, by learning God’s Word and knowing the right thing to do.
This Sunday you’ll meet our Computer Teacher, James. I think you’ll like the way he teaches our Bible story, complete with pictures.
