I just ran across a link that might be of interest to you. Take a look at The Object Lesson Zone at Kidology. It's a discussion forum devoted to object lessons, and seems to have a good selection of items for the elementary age children.
FYI, I found this through ChildrensMinistry, which is a great starting point for anything related to children.
