Class and Individual Level
Find something to celebrate! Plan for this in advance. One approach to ensure success is to set a victory goal (easily achieved), a glory goal (somewhat harder), and a hallelujah goal (a real stretch).
Even if you didn’t meet your major goal, celebrate what you did accomplish. Perhaps you set a new attendance record, or perhaps you made more contacts than ever before. Perhaps you just had a good time! Celebrate it!
Celebrate individual class accomplishments as well. Hold up those who did good Sunday School work as models for others. Let them know that their work is noticed and appreciated.
If you were involved in a competition, celebrate the achievements of your competitors. Our month-long competitions always end with a worship service at which we make it clear the competition is ended, we’re re-united with our brothers in full unity, and we praise God for what He has accomplished in our churches.
We are diligent to praise God for His leading and blessing our efforts for His kingdom, and center our celebration around a time of worship and thanksgiving.
